Thomas Hamre

Thomas is an international policy and climate advisor with a MSc in Climate Change Management. He has worked as a consultant in the climate change and food security policy sector in the UK, Norway and Brazil, advising on decarbonisation strategies. Thomas has played an role in facilitating the development of scalable agroforestry projects in Brazil to help build climate resilience in vulnerable areas.

Nick is an art curator and critic. He is a director of Modern Forms, a London based art collection and foundation founded by financier Hussam Otaibi.

Rafaela Vargas

Rafalea is an activist anthropologist, psychologist and documentary film producer. For 14 years she has worked amongst the indigenous people and other communities in Brazil, including the Xavante, Xingu and Ashaninka nations, carrying out field research on topics and issues including the ethnology of illness, food security and medicinal and therapeutic practices. Rafaela is co-director and associate at Senaya Films, producing content that portrays the lives of indigenous people in the Amazon for broadcasters including BBC, Netflix, National Geographic, Channel 4, ARTE and France Télévision. Rafaela has a Masters in Social Sciences from the University of Paris and in Ethnology and Social Anthropology from EHESS (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales - the School of Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences).

Pagu Rodrigues

Indigenous of the Fulni-ô people, Pagu is a sociologist, activist. Pagu campaigns for the interests of women and youth in São Paulo. In the administration of the former mayor of São Paulo, Fernando Haddad, she participated in the Secretariat of Policies for Women, being responsible for effectively implementing quotas for women in city councils. Pagu is also a key figure in the struggle for the demarcation of indigenous lands and the improvement of the living conditions within the villages there, as well as fighting for the recognition of the rights of urban indigenous people. She is currently a member of the OAB Indigenous Peoples Commission (OAB), Coalition for the Climate in the city of São Paulo and several other networks for environmental and social justice.

Céline Cousteau

Céline is a humanitarian and environmental activist. She works with a variety of mediums that range from documentaries to art, from consulting with corporations and foundations to public speaking. Each form shares the same message of interconnectivity between humans and the natural world. Céline is the founder of CauseCentric Productions, creating cause-focused content. Extending her family legacy, Céline co-founded The Outdoor Film Fellowship, a nonprofit program whose mission is to empower young the next generation of creatives, and activists to inspire change through the arts. Céline is an ambassador for the TreadRight Foundation and on the board of directors of the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Her previous work has included being Guest Designer for Swarovski and Member of the World Economic Forum Council on Oceans. With a degree in psychology and a masters in Intercultural Relations, Céline is fluent in three languages.
